Welcome to Velvet Arcade. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of velvetarcadegames.com (the "Site") and everything on it. By using the Site you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What Velvet Arcade Is (and Isn't)

Velvet Arcade is a free-to-play social gaming platform provided purely for entertainment. The games use casino-style themes and mechanics, but the Site is not a gambling service: no money or thing of value is staked, no money or thing of value can be won, and no outcome in any game has monetary consequences. Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer to gamble, and no part of the Site should be understood as one.

2. Eligibility — Adults 21+ Only

The Site is available exclusively to adults aged 21 or over (or older, where a higher age of majority applies to you). By using the Site you confirm that you meet this requirement. We may remove access, content or accounts where we believe this condition is not met.

3. Virtual Credits

Gameplay uses virtual credits. Virtual credits: (a) have no cash or real-world value; (b) cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, redeemed or exchanged for money, goods or anything of value; (c) exist solely within the games for entertainment; and (d) may be reset, adjusted or discontinued at any time without compensation, because there is nothing to compensate — they are play-money in the most literal sense.

4. Accounts

Creating an account is optional and free. Account details are stored locally in your own browser (see our Privacy Policy); you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your device secure. You agree to provide a truthful age confirmation at sign-up. We reserve the right to withdraw account functionality at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Site if you are under 21; attempt to interfere with, disrupt or reverse-engineer the Site or the games; use bots, scrapers or automated tools against the Site; misrepresent the Site as a gambling or money-making opportunity to anyone; or use the Site in any way that violates applicable law. We may suspend or block access for breaches of this section.

6. Games and Third-Party Content

The games in our library are created, owned and operated by their respective studios and stream from those studios' servers in free demonstration mode. All game titles, artwork and software remain the property of their respective owners; their availability may change without notice for licensing or technical reasons. Links to third-party websites (including support resources) are provided for convenience — we are not responsible for third-party content.

7. Our Content

Except for third-party game content, everything on the Site — the Velvet Arcade name, logo, design, text and code — belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or exploit Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

8. Availability and Warranty Disclaimer

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge. We do not warrant that the Site or any game will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velvet Arcade shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site. Because the Site is free and involves no money, our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD 100).

10. Responsible Play

Although the Site involves no money, we ask you to play thoughtfully. Our Responsible Play page explains our approach and lists free support resources. Please read it.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Material changes will be flagged on the Site, and your continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

12. General
